Give Thanks for Dim Sum!
Highlight: My friend from Germany asked me the other day what we celebrate as Americans on Thanksgiving Day. I explained to her about the Pilgrims and the Indians and added that the American Indians also suffered greatly as a result of land wars, enslavement and diseases. Her response: “You celebrate that?!” I guess it is funny to rethink what it is that we are actually celebrating in our country.
Brick: Catching a cold.
Balloon: Five pound plays and lovely spring weather in the middle of October. 
Why the title? I went to Ping Pong with Lauren the other day and I am now obsessed with dim sum. I think I had it three times in two days this past week. Deliciousness.
