London, the Center
I think that it is great that London is the center for so many things in the world. Many people come to London for business, for visit, for study. London has everything from its own Fashion Week (and Weekend) and many big movie premiers happen in London as well. It is an amazing place to be. If only we knew how to better stalk Prince William and Rob Pattinson to know when they’re around the corner from us!
Highlight: UK computer key boards are different! Who would have imagined? Obviously, there is a GBP symbol my key board doesn’t have, but there are subtle differences like where the ” key and @ key that made it difficult to type at times when I first arrived.
Brick: My laptop battery recently gave up on me. I can’t turn on my laptop without it being plugged in and it says that the battery has 0% life!
Balloon: Trip to the London Eye this Thursday!
